SkyRoads is a science fiction arcade racing game released in 1993 for the MS-DOS platform. Developed by Bluemoon Interactive, the game presents a behind-view perspective where players control a spacecraft navigating linear pathways set against a starfield backdrop.

The player pilots a starglider along a defined road in space, with the primary objective being to reach the end of each track. Progression is managed by using directional keys for lateral movement and the space bar to make the ship jump. The up and down keys respectively accelerate and decelerate the vessel. Successful navigation requires avoiding collisions with obstacles, preventing the ship from falling off the track edges, and monitoring two critical resources: fuel and oxygen levels. A restart is triggered if the ship is destroyed, if either resource is depleted, or if the craft falls from the pathway.

The game structure consists of thirty individual tracks grouped across ten distinct areas. Gameplay variables introduce different challenges per stage. A gravity meter affects jump height and vehicle handling, with values ranging from a weightless feel to high gravity that prevents jumping entirely. Some levels emphasize speed by rapidly draining oxygen, pressuring the player for a quick completion. Others focus on resource management, requiring precise jumps onto track segments that replenish fuel and oxygen. Additional stages feature constant acceleration tracks, demanding exact timing and reflexive control to navigate successfully.
