Skunny: Lost in Space is a side-view scrolling shooter released for MS-DOS in 1995. Developed and published by Copysoft, the game is a science fiction themed arcade title that reworks the mechanics of the earlier game Moon Patrol. Players assume the role of the secret agent Skunny Hardnut, who is sent on a mission to the Moon.

The player controls Skunny, who pilots a vehicle called the Moonbuggy across a horizontally scrolling landscape. The primary objective is to travel from the left side to the right side of each level while confronting various hazards. Gameplay involves using the Moonbuggy's twin lasers to fire at enemy targets and timing jumps to clear craters and other obstacles. The vehicle operates with limited ammunition and an energy meter representing its health. Throughout the journey, players can collect items that restore ammo, replenish energy, or grant extra lives. The game structure allows players to select any of ten available levels to begin, with a shareware version offering access to two. A save feature automatically records progress if the player exits a level before completion.
