Skunny: In The Wild West is a platform game released in 1993 for MS-DOS systems. Developed and published by Copysoft, the game is set in a Western theme and is viewed from a side perspective. The narrative follows the character Skunny on a mission to recover sheep stolen from a family farm.

Players control Skunny across a series of levels with the primary objective of locating and freeing all the stolen sheep. Progression involves navigating environments by jumping between platforms, crossing gaps over water or pits, and dealing with various hostile animals and characters. Skunny is equipped with a water pistol for defense, which can temporarily or permanently dispatch enemies depending on their type. The game maintains a lives system where contact with enemies depletes energy and falling from a platform results in immediate loss of a life, requiring a restart from the level's beginning or a checkpoint.

Gameplay systems include resource management, as Skunny can collect water refills for his pistol and items that restore health. An interactive element allows Skunny to carry a box, which can be placed to create steps for reaching higher areas. The initial shareware release provided access to the first two levels, with the full registered version unlocking all ten levels, introducing additional enemy types, and enabling the use of cheat codes. Upon losing a life, any sheep already rescued remain saved, but defeated enemies typically respawn.
