Sint Nicolaas is a platform game released in 1998 for the MS-DOS system, developed and published by Wiering Software. It is based on the Dutch Sinterklaas tradition and is viewed from a side perspective. Players control a figure who must jump across rooftops, collecting presents and cookies while avoiding obstacles such as birds and television antennas. Each chimney on a rooftop is marked with a colored box and a number. The primary objective is to deliver collected presents to chimneys with a matching colored box and to leave the quantity of cookies indicated by the chimney's number. Collected presents trail behind the player in a chain, and only the present at the front of this chain can be delivered, requiring careful route planning. This system becomes more complex in later stages, where the order of presents collected does not match the sequence of available chimneys, often necessitating backtracking through the level layout.

After completing a main level, a bonus stage is presented. In this timed segment, the player must gather one hundred gingerbread cookies. This stage introduces platforms that vanish once walked across, adding a layer of urgency and precision to the collection task. The game progresses through a series of these main and bonus stages, structured around its core mechanics of item collection, delivery, and environmental navigation.
