Alright, so Sonic Eraser is one of those weird little SegaNet exclusives from back in the day—basically a puzzle game where Sonic awkwardly moonlights as a block-clearing machine. You’ve got this grid of colored blocks, and matching them makes Sonic zip around like he’s late for something (classic Sonic, honestly).
It’s not your usual speed-run chaos—more like a slower, methodical puzzle thing with a weirdly chill vibe. The music’s got that early ‘90s Sega synth charm, and the colors are obnoxiously bright in the best way. Not gonna lie, it feels a little janky at first, but once you get the hang of the block mechanics, it’s oddly satisfying to watch Sonic erase everything in his path.
Definitely a niche pick for Genesis collectors, but if you’re into obscure Sonic spin-offs, this one’s a fun curiosity.
