About Seasons Of Sakura
Seasons of Sakura is an adult interactive story released in 1997 for MS-DOS. Developed by Tiare and published by JAST USA, the game belongs to the anime and manga genre and is presented from a first-person perspective. It follows the narrative of Shuji Yamagami, a sixteen-year-old student beginning his studies at Kotobuki Preparatory School, where he is younger than most of his peers.
Players guide Shuji through his daily school life and vacations, navigating social interactions with the female students. The primary activity involves selecting locations to visit and engaging in conversations with various characters to develop relationships. The interface presents static images of settings and characters, with players choosing from several on-screen options at each step, including a "think" command to reflect on situations. Progression is linear and driven entirely by these dialogue and location choices, leading to multiple narrative branches.
The story advances as players make successive choices, ultimately determining which romantic relationship Shuji pursues. The game contains explicit erotic content that unfolds based on the player's decisions throughout the story. Its structure and gameplay systems are comparable to other titles from the same developer, focusing on character interaction and narrative consequence without incorporating traditional puzzles or challenges.
