Ranx is a cyberpunk action game released in 1990 for the MS-DOS platform. Developed and published by Ubi Soft Entertainment Software, it is set in a dark science fiction world. Players assume the role of a cyborg character named Ranx.

The player controls Ranx through a series of missions. The primary objective is to earn money for a plane ticket to New York, where Ranx must deliver an X03 vaccine to address a spreading virus. Following this, the goal shifts to traveling to Rome to locate another character. Progression involves navigating urban environments, engaging in combat, and interacting with the world. Gameplay systems include hand-to-hand fighting using kicks and punches against various opponents. Exploration allows for collecting items, some of which are used for character repairs or can be sold through dialogue with non-player characters. A secondary mechanic involves destroying objects like street lamps to acquire currency, with the need to avoid detection by police authorities.
