Quest for Glory III: Wages of War is a role-playing adventure game released in 1992 for MS-DOS. Players control a hero who can be created as a fighter, thief, mage, or, newly available from the start, a paladin. The game integrates role-playing systems where the character's core attributes improve through repeated actions, such as engaging in combat or practicing skills.

Gameplay combines adventure and role-playing elements. The real-time combat system allows players to select from offensive and defensive maneuvers during encounters with hostile creatures, which can occur randomly while traveling the overworld map.
