Ever wanted to play Sonic but as a cat? That's basically what this hack is—Sonic 1, but with Pantufa, a little orange feline who moves just like our blue hedgehog pal. Same levels, same badniks, same music, just... cat. It's weirdly charming, especially when you see Pantufa's tiny sprite curl into a ball mid-spin dash.

Controls are identical to the original, so if you've played Sonic before, you'll jump right in. The only real difference is the sprite swap, but honestly, watching a cat speed through Green Hill Zone feels oddly right. Some of the animations are a little janky (tail physics weren't exactly a priority in '91), but it's a fun little novelty for Sonic fans.

Definitely one of the more wholesome ROM hacks out there—no brutal difficulty spikes or weird glitches, just a cat living its best life in Sonic's world.
