Motor Mash is a top-down racing game released in 1998 for MS-DOS. Developed by Eutechnyx Limited and published by Ocean Software Ltd, it is a cartoon-style driving game that supports one to four players. Players can connect using a multi-tap accessory or share a single controller in a manner similar to earlier titles like Micro Machines 2.

In the game, players control one of twelve selectable characters, competing in races across various themed environments. These settings include jungle, Aztec temple, inner city, Wild West, nightmare, and arctic landscapes, each populated with unique environmental hazards. Obstacles such as collapsing bridges, moving trains, oil wells, cyclones, snowmen, and aggressive plants directly affect the race. The primary objective is not to finish first in a traditional lap-based race, but to force opponents off the screen by pushing them into hazards or off the track. When only one player remains visible, that contestant wins the round, and eliminated players rejoin the race from their point of exit.

Progression is managed through a credit system. Players earn credits based on how long they survive on screen during a race, and they lose credits upon being eliminated. A player is removed from the tournament entirely once their credits are depleted, with the last remaining participant declared the overall winner. The game offers several modes including single-player practice, Knockout Races, tournaments for one or multiple players, a time-based Beat the Clock challenge, and a Team Knockout variant. This structure emphasizes elimination and survival over conventional racing checkpoints.
