Monster Bash is a horror themed platform game released in 1993 for the MS-Dos operating system. It was developed and published by Apogee Software, Ltd. The game is presented from a third person perspective and follows the story of a boy named Johnny Dash.

Players control Johnny as he ventures into the Night World to rescue his dog and other animals kidnapped by the villainous Count Chuck. The primary objective on each level is to locate all the caged animals and shoot the locks on their cages with a slingshot to free them. Progress is structured across three distinct episodes, with a boss encounter concluding each one. The exit to the subsequent level only becomes accessible once every animal on the current stage has been freed.

Gameplay involves navigating platform environments while using the slingshot to combat various enemy types such as skeletons, zombies, and severed hands. Players can collect several items scattered throughout the levels to aid their progress. These include hearts that restore health, voodoo dolls shaped like Johnny that grant extra lives, and candy that provides bonus points. Temporary power ups for the slingshot can also be found, which increase its damage output for a limited number of shots before reverting to its standard state.
