Ever wanted to play as Mighty the Armadillo in a classic Sonic game? This romhack lets you swap out Sonic for Mighty—same speed, same loop-de-loops, but with a slightly different feel. He’s got a weirdly satisfying ground-pound move that crushes enemies and breaks blocks, which changes up how you tackle some of the levels. Not gonna lie, it’s a little janky in spots (this is a fan mod, after all), but if you’ve played the original Sonic games to death, it’s a fun twist. The sprites look surprisingly polished, though—whoever made this clearly put in the work.

Just don’t expect a full-blown new story or anything. It’s Sonic 1, but with an armadillo.
