I picked up Lego Star Wars on the Game Boy Advance back when it was new, a cartridge that just said 0 on it. It was developed by Traveller's Tales and published by Eidos, a solid little action game for the handheld that fit right in with other movie tie-ins of the era. You didn't need a powerful console to have a bit of Star Wars fun in your pocket.

You control a series of Lego minifigure heroes, switching between characters like Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi to fight stormtroopers and solve simple puzzles. The main goal is to progress through levels based on scenes from A New Hope, from the Tantive IV to the Death Star trenches. Signature mechanics include breaking apart Lego objects to collect studs, the game's currency, and building new structures from the scattered bricks to create bridges or access new areas. The combat is straightforward, mostly whacking droids with your lightsaber, and the pacing is generally relaxed, though some platforming sections can be tricky on the small screen. It feels like a cheerful, simplified version of the movie where you can just smash things and see what happens.
