Jeopardy! is a puzzle solving video game released for MS DOS in 1987, developed and published by ShareData, Inc. It is based on the television game show of the same name. The game presents a side view perspective of the virtual contestants and game board.

In the game, up to three players, either human or computer controlled, compete by providing questions that correspond to given answers. Players select from six categories in each of two main rounds, with each correct response earning a monetary value. A player who uncovers a hidden Daily Double may wager any portion of their current score. The contestant with the highest score after these rounds advances to a final round featuring a single answer. Progression is structured around correctly formulating questions across a wide variety of topics to accumulate virtual money.

The game includes systems for tracking performance, such as a high scores table that records wins and losses for saved player characters. Players can select from different male and female character animations to represent themselves during play. The core gameplay loop involves selecting answers from the board, buzzing in to respond, and formulating the correct question to gain points and ultimately win the match.
