For players seeking a higher performance rating, destroying all enemies in a stage is noted as a perfect run. Progression can involve retrieving keys to unlock obstacles or finding alternate routes around them. Points are accumulated during play, and for every twenty thousand points earned, the player is awarded an additional bonus tank. The game ends when all of the player's tanks are destroyed.
