Gravity Force is a scrolling shooter game released for MS-DOS in the year 2000. It is a remake of a 1989 title originally available for the Amiga and Atari ST computer systems. The game presents a third person perspective and retains a control scheme and physics model reminiscent of earlier titles in the genre.

Players control a spacecraft navigating through a series of cavernous levels. The primary objective is to locate and collect all cargo containers scattered within each stage and then safely transport them back to a designated home base. The ship's movement is governed by realistic physics, including momentum and gravity, requiring careful piloting to avoid collisions with the environment. Throughout the cave systems, various enemy ships patrol the areas and will engage the player's vessel, adding a combat element to the mission.

The game expands upon the original concept by introducing new level designs and mission types beyond the core cargo retrieval. These include escort missions and bombing runs, which provide different objectives. Additionally, the release features a time trial mode where players attempt to complete levels as quickly as possible to set new records. A separate two player mode is also included, allowing for direct ship to ship combat in a dedicated arena.
