Fire and Ice is a side view platform game released in 1993 for the MS-Dos platform. It was developed by Graftgold Ltd. and published by Renegade Software. The player controls a coyote navigating a series of icy environments.

The primary objective is to guide the coyote through each level, which involves running and jumping across platforms. The coyote's main method of interacting with the world is by throwing ice cubes at enemies, such as birds and penguins. When hit, these enemies become frozen and can then be destroyed, which sometimes causes them to drop a piece of a key. Collecting all the key pieces from defeated enemies in a level assembles a complete key, which is used to unlock the door to the next world. Progression is structured around completing these levels to advance through different themed worlds.

Additional gameplay elements include collecting power ups and finding coyote puppies. These puppies follow the player character, are invulnerable to harm, and assist by shooting at enemies. In certain higher areas of the levels, players can also gather snowflakes; collecting a sufficient number of these grants a large snowball that can freeze multiple enemies on the screen at once. The game combines traditional platform navigation with these projectile based combat and collection systems.
