Fate is a first-person shooter developed by DogBone Software and intended for publication by IntraCorp, Inc. The game was planned for release on MS-DOS in 1996 but was never completed, as its development was halted when IntraCorp ceased operations. A demo version containing four levels was made available in October of that year. The game utilizes the Build engine, a technology also employed in several other notable first-person shooters from the same period.

In the game, players assume the role of a character navigating through a series of interconnected maps from a first-person perspective. The core gameplay involves exploring environments, engaging in combat against hostile entities, and progressing through the available levels. Players utilize an arsenal of weapons, many of which feature alternate firing modes, adding a layer of tactical choice to encounters. The artificial intelligence governing enemy behavior is designed to provide a more dynamic combat challenge compared to other contemporary titles from the publisher.

The structure of the demo presents a linear progression through its four distinct levels, showcasing the engine's capabilities for varied architecture and spatial design. A notable technical feature is the ability for the player character to jump between different map sections, facilitating non-linear exploration within individual stages. As an unreleased project, the available content is limited to this demonstration, which serves as a snapshot of the intended gameplay systems involving combat, exploration, and weapon mechanics.
