Double Agent is an action game released in 1996 for MS-DOS. Developed and published by Flair Software Ltd., it is a spy and espionage title presented from a side view perspective. The game is an adaptation of the earlier Spy vs. Spy concept, featuring competitive missions between players or against computer-controlled opponents.

In the game, players control one of four selectable agents, each tasked with completing specific objectives before their rival. These missions involve actions such as retrieving documents to escape a building, locating a camera to take photographs, or eliminating the opposing agent. Progression is structured around competing in a series of these assignments, with players navigating through multi-room locations filled with interactive furniture like desks, file cabinets, and potted plants. A core gameplay system involves finding items such as heavy balls, electrical devices, or lit cigars to set traps within the environment, which can then be disarmed by other objects found in the rooms. Contact with a trap depletes an agent's energy.

Agents are equipped with a shotgun for direct confrontation, and a third computer-controlled agent periodically enters the fray to set additional traps and attack both players, adding another layer of complexity. Upon death, an agent loses all carried items and is returned to the starting position of the level. The DOS version includes animated introductory and in-game sequences, complementing the fast-paced, trap-focused competitive gameplay.
