Doraemon 4 - Nobita To Tsuki No Oukoku (translated) Game

Doraemon 4: Nobita and the Kingdom of the Moon is one of those weirdly charming SNES games that flew under the radar outside Japan. You play as Nobita (or Doraemon, if you prefer), bouncing around colorful, slightly janky platforming levels with that iconic blue robot cat’s gadgets. The gravity feels a little floaty at first, but you get used to it—kinda like how Mario controls differently in every fan-made ROM hack.
What’s cool is how it mixes classic platforming with light puzzle-solving. You’ll use Doraemon’s tools to shrink down, hover over gaps, or even warp through doors, and the moon setting gives everything this dreamy, pastel vibe. The translation patch makes it playable, though some of the dialogue still feels like it went through Google Translate twice. Still, if you’re into retro anime games or just want something different from the usual SNES lineup, it’s a neat little time capsule.
Just don’t expect Super Mario World-level polish. This is more of a "late-night snack" kind of game.
