Doraemon 4 - Nobita To Tsuki No Oukoku (japan) Game

Doraemon 4 on SNES is one of those weird, charming Japan-only titles that never made it overseas. You play as Nobita, stumbling around with Doraemon’s gadgets in a moon kingdom—think classic adventure RPG but with that goofy, low-stakes Doraemon vibe. The sprites are bright and cartoony, and the controls are simple enough that you’ll figure them out in minutes, even if you don’t read Japanese.
At first, it feels like a standard fetch quest game, but then you start using Doraemon’s ridiculous tools—like the bamboo copter to fly over gaps or the shrinking ray to squeeze into tiny spaces. The moon setting gives it this dreamy, slightly surreal atmosphere, and the music’s got that nostalgic SNES charm. Not the deepest RPG out there, but if you’re into quirky retro stuff, it’s a fun little time capsule.
Just don’t expect a full English patch—half the fun is guessing what the NPCs are saying.
