Cryptic Passage for Blood is a 1997 expansion pack for the first-person shooter Blood, released for MS-DOS. Developed by Sunstorm Interactive and published by WizardWorks Group, it was the first official third-party expansion for the game, preceding the developer's own Plasma Pak expansion. The add-on introduces a new single-player episode set after the events of the original game.

The player resumes the role of Caleb, a gunslinger and occult anti-hero, on a quest to retrieve a stolen scroll from an ancient god. Progression is structured across ten new single-player levels, which include a hidden secret stage, alongside four additional multiplayer maps designed for the game's bloodbath mode. The core gameplay retains the original's fast-paced shooter mechanics, focusing on exploration through themed environments, combat against a variety of monstrous foes using an arsenal of period and supernatural weapons, and solving environmental puzzles to advance. The levels exhibit a range of distinct visual and architectural styles, contributing to a varied progression through the episode.

Due to its development timeline, the expansion does not incorporate the new enemy types introduced in the later Plasma Pak. It concludes the new storyline with an original ending sequence presented in a slideshow format. Despite being created by a third-party studio, the events of Cryptic Passage are considered part of the game's official canon, though its narrative is not directly referenced in other Blood materials.
