About Color Lines
Color Lines is a turn based puzzle game released in 1992 for the MS DOS platform. It was developed and published by Gamos Ltd. The game presents players with a nine by nine grid board where the objective is to form lines of colored balls.
In the game, players control the placement of colored balls that appear on the board. Each turn, three new balls of random colors are added to random empty spaces. The player can then move one existing ball per turn to any other empty space, with the goal of aligning five or more balls of the same color in a row. These lines can be formed vertically, horizontally, or diagonally. When a successful line is created, those balls are removed from the board and the player earns points.
The primary progression involves continuously managing the board to prevent it from filling completely. The game concludes only when no empty spaces remain for new balls to appear. An initial objective is to score more than 3000 points, which is presented as a benchmark to surpass. After achieving this, the game continues indefinitely, with the player aiming to achieve the highest possible score before the board becomes overcrowded.
