Cold Dreams is a platform game released in 1995 for the MS-DOS operating system. It was developed and published by Immortality Production and is presented from a third-person perspective. The game is set on a mysterious planet from which no one is known to have returned.

The player controls a character navigating a series of subterranean worlds. The objective is to progress through stages by moving between rooms in a specific sequence, locating keys, and avoiding various traps and hostile creatures. The game world is divided into three distinct areas, with an initial shareware version providing access only to the first. Players have access to five different weapons, each designed to be effective against particular enemies or environmental obstacles. Items such as life boosters, bombs, and shields can be collected and used at the player's discretion.

A key gameplay element involves a robotic companion. This floating device can be programmed to follow the player, remain stationary, or be directed independently via remote control. The robot can be armed with its own ammunition and is often essential for accessing otherwise unreachable areas and solving certain puzzles. A dedicated training level is included to allow players to practice using the robot and familiarize themselves with other game mechanics.
