I remember playing Codename: Kids Next Door Games: Operation Z.E.R.O.: Outnumbuh'd when it first came out as a Flash Classic on the Cartoon Network website. It was developed by Atomic Planet Entertainment, I think, and it fit right in with the other browser games of the mid-2000s. You didn't need a fancy console; you just loaded it up and were immediately part of the KND's final battle against Grandfather.

You control Numbuh 1 through a series of side-scrolling levels, fighting through hordes of senior citizombies. Your main goal is to rescue your brainwashed fellow operatives and survive the onslaught. The core mechanics are straightforward: you use a stun gun to temporarily freeze enemies and then throw age-atonic grenades to cure them, turning them back into allies. The pacing is relentless, as any cured operative can be re-zombified if another enemy touches them, which forces you to constantly manage the battlefield. It feels frantic and a little chaotic, like you're barely holding the line against an overwhelming force.
