Health is restored by collecting virtual food items like bowls of fruit or vegetables, with a complete breakfast providing a full health boost.

The game structures its challenge around managing health and ammunition while engaging enemies across distinct levels. Defeated Flemoids are transported away with Zorch energy instead of being violently dispatched, aligning with the game's non-violent premise.
