Chess Housers is a puzzle game released in 1993 for the MS-DOS platform. It was developed by Diabolic Soft and published by Digital Dreams Multimedia. The game presents a top-down, isometric perspective and combines elements of traditional chess with labyrinth navigation.

Players control a disembodied glove, moving it through a series of rooms using the arrow keys. Each room functions as a discrete puzzle, set on a checkerboard floor populated with stationary chess pieces. The primary objective is to maneuver the glove to the room's exit. To do this, the player must push chess pieces out of the way by using the arrow keys in combination with the space bar. Each type of chess piece moves according to its standard rules from the game of chess; for instance, pawns only move forward, while knights move in an L-shaped pattern. The glove can be eliminated if a chess piece moves onto its square, requiring the player to consider piece trajectories carefully. Progression involves solving these spatial logic puzzles one room at a time.

The game features temporary save points that are lost if the player exits the program. Upon completing each maze, a password is displayed, allowing players to return to that specific puzzle later. This system facilitates progression without permanent in-game saves. The gameplay focuses on planning moves to rearrange the chess pieces and create a safe path to the exit, with the behavior of each piece type adding a layer of strategic complexity to the navigation.
