Bram Stoker's Dracula is a first-person action game released for MS-DOS in 1993. Developed by TAG and published by Psygnosis Limited, it draws inspiration from the 1992 film adaptation of the classic novel. The game blends horror themes with shooter mechanics and puzzle elements, presenting its story through a first-person perspective.

Players assume the role of Jonathan Harker, a young lawyer on a mission to confront and defeat Count Dracula. The game is structured across three primary stages: a cemetery, Carfax Abbey, and Dracula's castle. In each location, the core objective is to navigate maze-like, tile-based dungeons to find and purify all of Dracula's coffins using holy wafers. This purification is necessary to prevent defeated enemies from respawning at those locations. Harker is armed with a knife and a gun, with mouse controls used for aiming, to combat the various undead creatures that inhabit these areas. Health-restoring food and additional ammunition are scattered throughout the levels for the player to collect.

Progression through the environments involves solving environmental puzzles to access all the required coffins and wafers. These puzzles typically involve locating keys, activating levers, stepping on pressure plates, and using teleporters or rotating portals. Each stage concludes with a boss encounter against Dracula, who appears in different monstrous forms. The gameplay loop consistently combines exploration, combat against respawning foes, and light puzzle-solving to advance toward these final confrontations.
