Bedlam 2: Absolute Bedlam is an isometric shooter released in 1997 for MS-DOS. Developed by Mirage Technologies and published by GT Interactive Software Corp., the game is a third-person action title set six months after the events of its predecessor. The narrative follows the return of a hostile biomechanical force, now called Biomex, which has seized control of key facilities.

Players control Major Kern's combat robot across thirty distinct missions. The primary objective is to eliminate Biomex forces while navigating expansive, open levels. Core gameplay involves exploring these environments and engaging enemies in combat using simple controls: the left mouse button directs movement, while the right button fires the equipped weapon. Defeated enemies often drop items such as ammunition, shield energy, or currency. This currency is used between missions to purchase permanent upgrades for the player's robot, enhancing its capabilities for future challenges.

Mission objectives vary, including tasks like capturing enemy bases, recovering specific items, or rescuing prisoners. While primary goals must be completed to advance, optional secondary objectives provide additional rewards. The game's structure is divided into four separate campaigns, which players can select in any order, though their difficulty progressively increases. Later in the experience, command expands to allow control of up to three robotic units during missions, adding a layer of tactical management to the run-and-gun action.
