Batman Games: Shadow Combat is one of those simple but satisfying side-scrolling beat 'em ups where you just punch your way through waves of thugs. The controls are straightforward—arrow keys to move, X to throw punches—but timing your jumps and attacks actually matters, especially when enemies gang up on you.

You’ll grab coins as you go (because even Batman needs spare change, I guess) and hunt for the exit door to clear each level. The first few stages ease you in, but don’t get too comfortable—later on, you’ll need to watch for attacks from both sides. It’s not the fanciest Batman game out there, but it’s solid for a quick brawl when you’ve got five minutes to spare.
