Avengers Games: Tactics Game

Avengers Games: Tactics is one of those turn-based strategy games where you actually have to think before moving—none of that mindless button-mashing. You start off with a small squad of Avengers (Iron Man, Cap, Black Widow, etc.), and each one plays totally differently. Iron Man’s ranged attacks are great for picking off enemies from a distance, but if someone gets too close, you’ll wish you had Hulk there to smash things.
The first few battles ease you in, but pretty soon you’re juggling cooldowns, positioning, and which hero’s ability combos best with the others. I kept forgetting Black Widow’s stun could set up Hulk for a free hit—took me a couple losses to figure that out. The villains aren’t pushovers either; some of them actually flank you or buff each other if you’re not careful.
It’s not super deep, but for a quick tactical fix with Avengers, it’s way more satisfying than I expected. Just don’t expect a full-on XCOM-level strategy sim.
