Amok is a science fiction action game released in 1996 for MS-DOS. Developed and published by Scavenger, Inc., it is a futuristic title presented from a third-person perspective. The setting involves two massive corporations, NONLUN and AZTK, which have recently established a fragile peace after a prolonged war.

The player controls Gert Staun, a pilot hired by a mercenary group known as the Bureau to reignite the conflict. Staun operates a custom battle walker called the Slambird, which is capable of functioning both on land and underwater. The vehicle transitions automatically between these environments as the player progresses through linear missions. Objectives involve completing a series of tasks, often designed to make each corporate side blame the other, while navigating through increasing hazards such as military bases, vehicles, and hostile wildlife.

Gameplay focuses on combat using the Slambird's arsenal, which includes various explosive projectiles and two rapid-fire laser cannons. Weapons behave differently depending on the environment, with torpedoes used underwater and missiles on land. Players encounter infantry, tanks, submarines, and other obstacles throughout the levels. Power-ups are available to collect, and mission strategies can include surprise attacks or destroying key facilities to hinder enemy response. The structure is level-based, with each stage presenting specific targets and challenges to overcome.
