Play All Hail King Julian: Dance Commander Online

I picked up All Hail King Julian: Dance Commander when it was part of the Classic Games on Mobile collection. It was developed by DreamWorks Animation, I believe, and it felt very much like a product of its time, a straightforward mobile game built around a popular character from the Madagascar films. You don't find many games like this on the app stores anymore; it was simple and direct.

You control King Julian, and your main job is to get a group of lemurs to dance. The playfield is a grid, and you tap on empty squares to command the lemurs to move there. Once a lemur is on a dance floor tile, it starts grooving. The challenge is to get all the lemurs dancing at once, which often means carefully planning their paths so they don't bump into each other or get stuck. The game is turn-based, so you can take your time to figure out the correct sequence of moves. Some levels introduce obstacles or different lemur types that move in specific patterns, which adds a nice puzzle layer to the dancing. It feels satisfying to finally arrange all the lemurs and watch them move it, move it in unison.
