Advanced NetWars is an action game released for MS-DOS in 1997, developed and published by Caldera. It is an updated version of the original NetWars, featuring enhanced graphics and additional features, and was distributed with the OpenDOS operating system. The game is presented from a first-person perspective, placing the player in control of a space fighter.

In the game, players pilot a spacecraft through expansive space environments with the primary objective of engaging and destroying enemy fighters. The player's craft is equipped with weaponry such as plasma guns and missiles, along with turbo boosters for increased speed and maneuverability. A key tool for navigation and combat is a three-dimensional radar display, which indicates the positions of other ships relative to the player, including their elevation above or below the player's craft.
