Doraemon 2 Game

Doraemon 2 on Game Boy is one of those weird little gems that slipped under the radar for a lot of people. You start off with Nobita running around his neighborhood, and right away you notice the controls are a bit stiff—classic early Game Boy platforming. But then you start finding Doraemon’s gadgets, like the bamboo copter or the anywhere door, and suddenly the game gets way more interesting.
It’s not perfect—some of the puzzles feel trial-and-error, and the text is all in Japanese unless you’re playing a fan translation. But there’s something charming about figuring out how to use each gadget to progress, even if you’re just mashing buttons at first. The music’s got that nostalgic 8-bit chirpiness too.
If you’re into retro platformers with a quirky twist, this one’s worth digging up.
